Broad Function:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Team Lead – Talent Acquisition to lead our in-house Corporate Talent Acquisition function. The role is responsible for achieving individual and team hiring goals while driving end-to-end recruitment operations, stakeholder management, recruiter development, recruitment analytics, Zoho Recruit governance, and continuous
process improvement through AI and automation. The incumbent will ensure high-quality hiring, error-free offer management, effective salary negotiations, and exceptional candidate and manager experience.
Roles and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)
1. Individual Recruitment Delivery (Individual Contributor)
- Achieve assigned individual hiring and joining targets while ensuring quality, speed, and excellent candidate experience.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, offer
- rollout, and successful onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using multiple sourcing channels, including AI-enabled recruitment tools.
2. Team Leadership & Recruitment Delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team to achieve individual and team hiring goals.
- Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous learning within the team to improve recruitment quality and productivity.
- Support recruiters in closing critical and niche positions through sourcing strategies, salary negotiations, and stakeholder
- management.
- Ensure error-free generation of offer letters and complete accuracy in compensation and recruitment documentation.
- Drive higher offer-to-joining conversion through effective candidate engagement and negotiation.
3. Recruitment Operations & Process Excellence
- Own the effective functioning, governance, and continuous improvement of Zoho Recruit across the recruitment function.
- Ensure recruitment process compliance, data accuracy, workflow discipline, and timely closure of positions.
- Drive process improvements through AI, automation, and technology to enhance recruiter productivity and hiring efficiency.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Business Heads and Hiring Managers to understand hiring priorities and manpower requirements.
- Conduct regular hiring review meetings and provide updates, market intelligence, and recruitment insights.
- Ensure a seamless hiring experience for business stakeholders and candidates.
5. Recruitment Strategy & Analytics
- Develop proactive talent pipelines using diverse sourcing channels and innovative recruitment strategies.
- Own recruitment dashboards, MIS, analytics, and key hiring metrics to support business decisions.
- Leverage recruitment data, market intelligence, and AI-driven insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and joining.
- Support employer branding, campus hiring, talent management, and other strategic HR initiatives.
- Stay updated with recruitment trends, technologies, and industry best practices to continuously strengthen the Talent Acquisition function.
Desired Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM in HR will be preferred.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in Corporate Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring a recruitment team.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an in-house corporate Talent Acquisition function for an IT start up.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment across technical, non-technical, leadership, and niche hiring.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Zoho Recruit, and recruitment process optimization.
- Strong understanding of recruitment analytics, MIS reporting, dashboards, and hiring metrics.
- Experience in leveraging AI-powered recruitment tools, sourcing technologies, and automation to improve hiring efficiency.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the IT/Technology industry or a fast-paced startup environment will be preferred.
