Primary Job Title: Medical Receptionist (On-site, India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet patients, manage visitor check-in/out, and maintain a welcoming, professional front-desk environment.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the clinic’s appointment scheduling system; manage waiting lists and daily provider calendars.
- Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information; accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Handle incoming calls, triage basic queries, route calls to clinical staff, and manage the clinic’s telephone/auto-attendant system.
- Process payments and issue receipts using point-of-sale systems; reconcile daily cash/card transactions and support basic billing follow-ups.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinic protocols for records management, sanitisation of the reception area, and escalations to clinical staff.

- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient practice front-desk role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability for on-site shifts, and a service-oriented attitude when interacting with patients and clinical teams.
- Structured onboarding and hands-on training with clinical administration processes.
- Collaborative, patient-first culture with clear escalation paths and supportive clinical staff.
- On-site role with stable shift scheduling and opportunities for skills development in medical administration.
