React UI Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced React UI Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will lead front-end architecture, guide UI engineering teams, and ensure the development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in React ecosystem, UI architecture, performance optimization, and component-driven development, along with the ability to collaborate closely with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver high-quality digital products.

Key Responsibilities

UI Architecture & Development

• Lead the design and development of scalable front-end architectures using React.js.
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI component libraries.
• Define and enforce UI coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
• Implement responsive and accessible web applications.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end developers.
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Drive adoption of modern UI frameworks, design systems, and development tools.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Implement techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and state management optimization.

Collaboration

• Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into scalable UI solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment.

Quality & Best Practices

• Implement testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Ensure high-quality code through automated testing, linting, and static analysis tools.
• Maintain documentation for UI architecture and component libraries.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with state management frameworks (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Experience with modern UI libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Tailwind.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of Web Performance Optimization.

Development Tools

• Git-based version control (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Babel
• Package managers like npm or yarn

Architecture Knowledge

• Component-driven architecture
• Micro-frontend architecture (preferred)
• Design systems and UI frameworks
• API-driven UI development

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering frameworks.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and API orchestration.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or digital platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Storybook for UI component documentation.
