Title: Technical Lead – R&D (Converter OR Inverter)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Lead – R&D with strong experience in Power Electronics and end-to-end product development. This role is focused on leading product development from prototype stage to mass manufacturing while managing technical teams and driving cross-functional engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from prototype to mass manufacturing
• Drive technical ownership across hardware, firmware, and mechanical integration
• Define product roadmaps, engineering milestones, and delivery timelines
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and quality teams for component and vendor alignment
• Support DFM, DFT, and DFS implementation to improve manufacturability and serviceability
• Oversee system-level integration and product validation activities
• Review and approve ECR/ECN during development and production phases
• Drive pilot production and manufacturing scale-up activities
• Conduct failure analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with certification agencies for compliance and testing activities
• Lead design reviews and mitigate technical risks

Required Skills and Experience

• 6–12 years of experience in Power Electronics product development (Converter OR Inverter)
• Strong experience in prototype-to-mass manufacturing environments
• Hands-on expertise in Hardware Design and System Integration
• Exposure to Firmware coordination and Mechanical Integration
• Experience with DFM, DFT, and DFS methodologies
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and industrialization processes
• Experience in RCA, validation, reliability testing, and engineering change management
• Prior experience in EV, Renewable Energy, or Consumer Electronics domain preferred
• Strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience managing engineering teams and driving product ownership
