Role Description The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and quantity estimation throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project costs, and ensuring accurate cost planning and reporting. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to track expenditures, evaluate variations, and support budget adherence. The Quantity Surveyor will also assist in tender preparation, contract administration, and provide timely cost analysis to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure projects remain within approved budgets.
- Candidates should possess expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off for accurate estimation and tender documentation.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support forecasting, progress tracking, and project reviews.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or estimation software.
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes, construction practices, and contract conditions will be beneficial.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in a quantity surveying or cost engineering role is preferred.
