Role Description

This is a Quant & DI-LR Faculty role based on-site at T.I.M.E. Coimbatore, open to both full-time and part-time candidates. The faculty member will design and deliver sessions in Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation–Logical Reasoning, using clear explanations, examples, and practice exercises to strengthen students' conceptual understanding and test-taking skills.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Teaching Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, and Logical Reasoning as per the academic plan
• Delivering effective classroom, online, and hybrid sessions
• Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials
• Explaining concepts, shortcuts, and advanced problem-solving strategies - Assigning and reviewing practice work
• Creating, evaluating, and analyzing mock tests
• Running doubt-clearing, practice, and revision sessions
• Guiding students on exam strategy, time management, and sectional approach - Monitoring student progress and providing individualized feedback
• Helping students build study plans and preparation roadmaps
• Participating in faculty meetings and contributing to curriculum enhancement

Qualifications:

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Management, or a related quantitative discipline
• Strong foundation in Mathematics and Statistics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and logically
• Proficiency in quantitative analytics and analytical problem-solving methods for Quant and DI-LR sections
• Strong command of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Number Systems, DI sets, and LR puzzles - Excellent classroom communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners
• 0–10 years of teaching experience; freshers with strong aptitude and a passion for teaching may apply
• Prior coaching experience for CAT / CMAT / GMAT / IPMAT / Banking / SSC is highly desirable
• Candidates from top B-schools may apply for part-time roles
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic teams, adapt teaching strategies to learner needs, and maintain professional conduct
• Proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage
• Comfortable working on weekends and flexible schedules
