Quality Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an 4+ years experienced Quality Manager to lead the QA/QC function for FRP and SMC manufacturing operations. The role involves managing quality systems, product testing, process audits, certifications, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Implement and enforce quality systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / IS 6746 / EN 124 standards)
  
• Oversee raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing
  
• Prepare and approve QAPs, SOPs, inspection checklists, and work instructions
  
• Monitor quality control parameters for SMC, BMC, DMC, Pultrusion, Hand Lay-up, Infusion, and Injection Molding lines
  
• Ensure adherence to surface finish, thickness, and curing quality of molded and pultruded FRP products
  

Testing & Certification

• Conduct mechanical testing, type testing, and third-party certifications (CPRI, ERDA, NABL labs)
  
• Coordinate for FRP and SMC product approval samples with government departments
  
• Maintain calibration records and testing equipment validation
  
• Manage appearance, dimensional accuracy, and mechanical testing protocols
  
• Oversee dimensional, curing-related, and customer-specific test protocols
  

Documentation & Audits

• Maintain detailed records for internal and external audits
  
• Handle documentation for customer complaints, CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action), and NCRs
  
• Prepare quality manuals, inspection checklists, and QAPs
  
• Maintain ISO documentation, NCR reports, and customer complaint logs
  
• Coordinate tender-related technical and compliance documentation
  

Vendor & Process Quality

• Conduct quality audits for key suppliers (resin, fiber, fillers, SMC sheets)
  
• Implement process improvements for reducing rejections and increasing consistency
  
• Monitor in-line inspection, mold cleaning, curing, and finishing processes
  
• Train QA/QC team and production supervisors on process inspection
  
• Lead a team of inspectors, lab technicians, and coordinate with cross-functional departments
  

Team Management & Training

• Lead the QA/QC team, lab technicians, and line inspectors
  
• Organize quality training sessions for operators and supervisors
  
• Encourage a culture of quality consciousness across departments
  
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA measures
  

Reporting & Coordination

• Submit MIS reports on rejection, rework, and customer feedback analysis
  
• Work closely with Production, Design, Dispatch, and Marketing teams for product approvals
  
• Ensure timely support to tender documentation, technical compliance forms, and inspection requests

• Continuous regular education only

• Must be a full-time salaried professional
  

Compensation & Benefits

Probation Period

• Duration: 4–6 months
  

Post-Confirmation

• CTC: ₹5,50,000 per annum
  

Joining Bonus

• ₹50,000 on completion of 6 months from Date of Joining
