Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and packaging for quality and compliance.
- Conduct in-process and finished goods checks to ensure batch consistency.
- Implement quality control systems and update relevant SOPs.
- Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints using root cause analysis.
- Maintain documentation for internal audits and external certifications.
- Coordinate with production and sanitation teams to uphold hygiene standards.
- Validate cleaning processes and environmental monitoring data.
- Prepare and present quality reports to plant leadership.
- Conduct periodic training on quality protocols for line staff.
- Support product traceability and recall management procedures.
- Bachelor’s in food technology, Microbiology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance in FMCG/food production.
- Familiar with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other quality frameworks.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in handling lab equipment and sample analysis.
