Quality Engineer II

Job Description

As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective quality engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering projects by identifying and addressing quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Your expertise in quality methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing our overall product quality.

Responsibilities

Managing Day to day Plant Quality Process as below.

• Incoming quality control supervision.
• Managing Assembly/Process Quality.
• Molding Quality monitoring and review.
• Communication and follow ups with supplier for incoming Quality related CA/PA
• Quality Metrics reports.
• Leading RMA activities for both Mfg. & BTS.
• Leading Six Sigma green belt projects.
• Site champion for BIQ Audit.
• Managing and controlling process rejections.
• Continuous improvement of product and process.
• Review and documentation of required Documents for ISO: 9001:2015 Audits (Internal & External Audits)
• Works with CFT for product and Process Improvements.
• SPOC for site Poka-Yoke event being driven by BA.
• Carrying RCA and making reports for field return samples.
• Managing Calibration activities of MME’s.
• Team training for External Quality circle presentation.
• NPI- samples review and reporting
  
  

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools
• Experience with quality management systems and processes
