Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager – SCM, based in Gurugram. The role involves managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory control, vendor coordination, and supply management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, optimizing resource utilization, analyzing supply chain data, and supporting project execution in line with business goals and timelines.
A key requirement for this role is hands-on knowledge of electrical components and materials used in Solar, Wind, and Power Transmission & Distribution projects. The candidate must have practical understanding of procurement and supply coordination related to key electrical items and should be capable of working closely with project, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure smooth material planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage demand planning, procurement, and inventory control activities across projects handle vendor development, supplier coordination, price negotiations, and material follow-up Ensure timely availability of materials to support project execution and site requirements Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, projects, finance, and operations for smooth supply planning Maintain effective procurement processes, documentation, and compliance standards Support sourcing and supply management for electrical components used in renewable and power infrastructure projects
Mandatory Requirement
The candidate must have sound knowledge of electrical components and supply chain processes related to:
Solar projects
Wind projects
Power Transmission & Distribution projects
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in procurement, planning, or vendor management of electrical items such as cables, transformers, switchgear, inverters, modules, structures, CT/PT, breakers, panels, and related project materials.

- Proficiency in Demand Planning and Inventory Management for accurate forecasting and stock optimization
- Strong Analytical Skills for supply chain optimization and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in Supply Management and Procurement to maintain efficient and cost-effective operations
- Strong understanding of electrical components used in Solar, Wind, and Power T&D projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in the renewable energy and power sector will be strongly preferred
