About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead – Quality Assurance / QA Manager to manage and strengthen field quality across Transmission Line (TL) and Substation (SS) projects. The role requires deep knowledge of QA/QC standards, strong leadership, and hands‑on experience in construction quality management for electrical and civil domains.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Lead QA activities across multiple project sites (TL & SS).
• Implement QA processes, FQPs, ITPs, SOPs, and inspection checklists.
• Conduct on-site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Review & approve EPC quality documents—FQP, MST, method statements, protocols, etc.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and define corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and close quality observations raised by QA / TPIA teams.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate regularly with EPC teams, site teams, TPIA, OEMs, and NABL labs.
• Participate in pre‑award, kick‑off, post‑award, and review meetings.
• Prepare TOR, NFA, and manage deployment of TPIA resources.
• Validate TPIA reports, invoices, CPBG status, and ensure timely closures.

Documentation & Reporting

• Develop and maintain QA documents for all packages.
• Review reports related to concrete mix design & PIT testing.
• Maintain observation logs, dashboards, MIS & BRM presentations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor QA engineers and TPIA personnel.
• Identify training needs to strengthen technical competency.
• Ensure effective teamwork and communication across stakeholders.

Required Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical(Mandatory)

Required Experience

• 5–12 years of QA&I experience in construction of Substation projects and piling works.
• Experience in Transmission Line (TL) projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE/ASTM standards.
• Experience in concrete mix design, civil material testing, and review of PIT reports.
• NDT Level‑2 Certification preferred.
