Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to enhance our testing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, hands-on experience with key tools like Python, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and performance testing suites. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing processes.

Responsibilities:-

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Implement and maintain performance/load testing using JMeter and LoadRunner to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability.
• Apply software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, STLC) to create comprehensive test plans, cases, and reports.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers, including regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to triage defects, analyze root causes, and verify fixes.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git) for automated testing integration.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and ensure test coverage meets quality standards.
• Document test results, maintain traceability matrices, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation; hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and API testing tools.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging complex issues.
• Strong communication skills for reporting insights and collaborating across teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control (Git).

Preferred Skills-

• Experience with cloud testing (AWS/Azure) or containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or behavior-driven testing.
• Exposure to mobile app testing on iOS/Android platforms.
