About The Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, and working closely with development teams in an Agile environment to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker (and Kubernetes, if applicable)
Deploy, monitor, and maintain infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code integration and release management
Manage version control workflows using Git (branching strategies, code reviews, merge processes)
Administer and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure performance, security, and availability
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and quick incident response
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and deployment pipelines
Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps tools, processes, and automation strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts; Kubernetes experience is a plus
Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure); multi-cloud experience preferred
Experience managing and optimizing databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Working knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, etc.)
Good understanding of networking, security, and system administration fundamentals
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team

Good to Have

Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
Exposure to serverless architecture
Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet)
