Quality And Safety Manager

About the Role: The main purpose of the role is overseeing the overall Quality, GMP & HSE performance across the whole supply chain cycle. This job contributes to the success of MATCH Company business by ensuring the overall quality of ingredients, materials, and finished products in accordance with MATCH Company standards to uphold trademark integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage quality, GMP and HSE agenda across plant and supply chain cycle to assure product compliance to the set standards and regulations.
• Eliminate product contamination risk, safety hazards, minimize variability, and improve consumer trust in Company’s products.
• Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
• Identify and lead efforts of product/process quality and cost management opportunities to achieve productivity gains.
• Lead and develop action plans to improve product specifications, analytical procedures, and sampling programs.
• Provide visionary insight for future business improvements.
• Ensure pricing is proactively managed.
• Lead customer/consumer connections program and act as the consumer eye on the product within the business.
• Lead international accreditations such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 22716.
• Manage the interpretation of in-process and analytical data to make quality evaluations and recommend actions for improvement.
• Challenge results and drive improvement; coach others in the interpretation of results.
• Provide training in the area of GMP, HSE regulatory requirements, and quality measurement systems to company’s personnel.
• Lead implementation of suppliers’ quality assurance program including auditing, qualification, and approval.
• Support business decisions regarding major purchase strategies.
• Ensure compliance to the OSHA plans and proper safety practices by involving all employees in an effective safety program.
• Develop criteria and make recommendations to key internal departments and functions such as Engineering, Sourcing Product Availability, and Operations.
• Boost people capabilities and competencies to assure proficiency and accuracy in monitoring products’ quality parameters.
• Work collaboratively across functions to ensure adherence to established programs and practices.
