THE ROLE

Quality Control Manager, Apparels

Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC operations at the factories, including the inspections of raw materials, in-process / in-line production and finished goods.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing partners’ QC and production on in-line production quality control, assisting first production qualification, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Investigate and address quality-related issues, including customer complaints and non-conforming materials.
• Prepare and submit reports on quality control activities, including inspection results, audits, and non-conformance reports
• Ensure factories comply with company standards and good documentation practices by providing accurate records of inspections, test results, and other quality-related documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or relevant field
• 8-15 years of proven experience in quality control. Ideally in consumer goods or retail industries.
• Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment and/or field quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different partners
• Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis as applied in a manufacturing environment.
