QA/QC Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to oversee and ensure the implementation of quality standards across MEP systems within large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with main contractors, with a proven track record in MEP construction for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific QA/QC plan in accordance with ISO standards and client requirements.
• Ensure all MEP installation works comply with contract specifications, international standards, and approved shop drawings.
• Lead the preparation, review, and approval process for Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals.
• Conduct internal and external audits, NCRs, and closeouts in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards are consistently met and non-conformities are addressed immediately.
• Coordinate and liaise with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors.
• Supervise a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors; allocate tasks and review performance.
• Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including test reports, inspection records, calibration logs, and quality dashboards.
• Provide regular quality reports to senior management and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality culture and reduce rework.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role in the main contracting sector.
• Extensive MEP experience across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, BS, etc.).
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 QMS is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software tools.
