Job Title: QA Testing Automation Engineer

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

Treasury Technology are responsible for the design, build and operation of DB’s Treasury trading, balance management and Liquidity Reporting ecosystem. In partnership with the Treasury business we look to deliver technology solutions that enable organisational liquidity management and efficiencies. We currently have a significant regulatory agenda to deliver that includes some of the top 50 programmes in DB.
We are standing up a new Pune engineering centre. Initially the team will be around 100 FTE and we expect this to grow significantly over the next couple of years. We will be adopting a scaled Scrum approach and will use the Pune engineering shop as a blueprint for the wider global Treasury Technology organisation.
Automation Test Analyst is expected to work under the guidance of leads/Senior Analysts and would be instrumental in developing solutions approved by the Automation Test Architect or Test Manager. Should adhere to timelines, prescribed quality and MTS. Candidate/Applicant should be experienced in the tool, technology and skill area being considered for. Should have a fair understanding of automation testing frameworks and techniques.

Your Key Responsibilities

Should be creative and proactive thinker to develop/maintain extensible automation scripts/assets confirming to industry best practices and applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing
Experience of TDD and UI test automation.
Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites.
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
Develop and maintain reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of the test scripts.
Should be involved and contribute in automation framework design.
Work with the Development team to undersant and challenge application design, capture and reuse automated Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects to deliver a reusable, easy to maintain UAT test automation pack.

Your Skills And Experience

Should have 10+ years total test experience with 5+ years of relevant automation experience
Strong programming and development skills in Cucumber, Selenium, Java
Strong and Database and SQL knowledge.
Experience in python is desirable
Hands-on working experience on Test Automation using one or more techniques: Data Driven, Keyword Driven and Hybrid Framework.
Should be good at problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills
Hands-on working experience in regression test suite maintenance (Fitnesse/Selenium)
Should be able to analyse manual UAT test cases, specs, business processes and requirements and convert
Proactive and assertive attitude
Good in verbal & written communication
Knowledge of Investment Banking domain added advantage
Good understanding of STLC and latest test methodologies and processes.
Hands on working knowledge of automation tool UTF (and/or Selenium).
Should have worked in ETL/Data Warehouse projects/programs.
Proactive, disciplined and good sense of time management

Skills/ Qualifications

Degree/Masters engineering or software/technology related subject (or equivalent certification and/or relevant work experience)

Industry / Domain Experience: Desirable

Hands-on knowledge of enterprise technology platforms supporting the Finance, Risk and Treasury domains would be an advantage. For example:

Knowledge of the Finance/controlling domain and end-to-end workflow for a banking & trading businesses.
Knowledge of Treasury: liquidity, funding, capital and collateral; and their management in a large financial institution.
Knowledge of the investment banking, sales & trading, asset management and similar industries is a strong advantage.
