We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Scry AI’s products through comprehensive testing and continuous quality improvement. This role is critical in delivering robust enterprise solutions that meet the highest standards of functionality and user experience.

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer at Scry AI, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans for web applications, APIs, and enterprise platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to identify issues early, validate product functionality, and ensure successful product releases.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate new features and ensure product stability before release

Automation & Quality Improvement

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and coverage
• Support continuous integration and quality assurance processes

Defect Management & Troubleshooting

• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
• Verify fixes and ensure defects are resolved before deployment

Collaboration & Product Validation

• Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning discussions
• Ensure products meet business and technical requirements

Documentation & Best Practices

• Maintain testing documentation and quality reports
• Monitor quality metrics and recommend process improvements
• Stay updated with testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software
• Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
