Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Tester to support the client’s mission-critical child welfare application environment. This role will focus on automated and manual testing for large-scale enterprise systems, helping ensure that functional requirements are met while also improving performance, scalability, maintainability, security, interoperability, and long-term system quality. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Azure DevOps, UFT, Agile delivery, enterprise integration testing, and end-to-end QA strategy in complex application environments.

Strict requirement: US Citizen or Greencard holder requirement per the client and W2 only. Must be able to relocate to client Hartford, CT. Candidates in the CT area will be given priority.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps suite, including Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts
5+ years of experience in automated testing with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript or another programming language
5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks, manual testing, test methodologies, test strategies, and test beds
5+ years of experience working in Agile environments
Experience developing and maintaining UI, backend, API, and hardware test automation
Experience working on at least two large-scale Agile software development projects
Strong knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and continuous integration methodologies
Strong knowledge of web application, distributed systems, performance, regression, database, mobile, security, accessibility, and web services testing
Experience reviewing system requirements, test scripts, and test scenarios to build effective testing workflows
Experience creating and maintaining automated functional tests, regression tests, load tests, unit tests, code coverage reports, and pass/fail reporting
Ability to collaborate with development teams, product owners, system teams, operations, users, and stakeholders
Strong understanding of QA best practices in Agile, including test plans, test cases, test execution, and issue tracking
Good understanding of DevOps and setting up continuous integration environments
Experience with test-driven development, testing tools, and testing techniques
Understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
Working knowledge of C#, WCF, jQuery, XML, JSON, WebAPI, SOAP, .NET, and JavaScript
Experience testing REST, SOAP, and WCF web services, including tools such as SOAPUI
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint, .NET Framework, SQL, and enterprise system integration preferred
Knowledge of data modeling, database design, application modeling, service-oriented architecture, Mulesoft, and virtualized hosting environments preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or equivalent practical experience preferred
Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
