Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Python development
• Strong experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI
• Proficiency in REST APIs and backend architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with ORMs, background jobs, and task queues (Celery, RQ, etc.)
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Knowledge of Docker & containerization
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Understanding of security best practices
• Experience with async programming and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Prior experience mentoring or leading developers

• Ability to handle complex systems and ambiguity
