We are seeking a high-ownership Python Backend Developer with a specialized background in Finance, Banking, or Payments. This is a pure software engineering role focused on building robust, high-scale financial systems.

Stability : Maximum of 2 company switches (total of 3 employers) in your career.

Domain : Mandatory experience in Banking, Payments, Finance, or Telecom.

Focus : Pure Backend Engineering (Applications that have moved into Data Science or Data Engineering will not be considered).

Role Overview : 4 - 6 Years

Location : Bangalore or Chennai (Work from Office)

Schedule : MonFri (WFO), Alternate Saturdays (WFH)

Education : BE / B.Tech or MCA

Technical Core Competencies

Primary Stack : Expert-level Python using Flask or FastAPI for high-performance API development.
Data Streaming & Pipelines : Proven experience building ETL pipelines and handling real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka.
Database Management : Advanced PostgreSQL skills, including complex query optimization and performance tuning for production-scale workloads.
DevOps & Reliability : Full ownership of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and production monitoring. You should be comfortable managing the lifecycle of an application from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture : Design and scale high-concurrency backend systems that power large-scale financial platforms.
End-to-End Ownership : Take full responsibility for requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, and production support.
Performance Engineering : Optimize API latency and ETL throughput to meet the rigorous demands of enterprise banking environments.
Reliability : Implement best practices in system reliability, incident management, and high availability.

Candidate Profile Requirements

Product Mindset : You have experience working on large-scale enterprise platforms (not just internal tools or small apps).
Architecture Focus : You don't just write code; you understand how components interact, scale, and fail in a distributed system.
No "Bleed" : Your experience is concentrated in Backend Engineering. We are specifically avoiding candidates whose profiles have transitioned into Data Science or Data Engineering.
Integrity & Scale : Experience with OpenAPI standards, security protocols in finance, and managing distributed systems.
