Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 5–8 years of experience in backend development and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python frameworks, test automation, and scalable system design, along with the ability to lead development efforts and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scripts, and automation workflows.
Lead the development of automation testing frameworks and scripts; execute and maintain automated test suites.
Build scalable backend components, RESTful APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and automation issues.
Work closely with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality deployments.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test cases, and automation artifacts.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in Python, automation, and AI/ML, and implement them where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Strong proficiency in Python frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Django, FastAPI, Pandas, and Requests.
Experience in test automation and scripting using tools like Selenium, OpenCV, WinAppDriver, or similar.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, backend automation, and microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and modular architecture.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Proven ability in debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Exposure to machine learning workflows or data pipelines is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
