Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer to join our development team in Bangalore . The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable applications using Python, coupled with advanced SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services and data-driven applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend applications using Python . Write efficient, reusable, and testable Python code. Build and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL , or SQL Server . Collaborate with Data Analysts, DevOps engineers, and Frontend Developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and database performance problems . Implement data validation, integrity checks , and quality control mechanisms within backend systems. Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation . Contribute to code reviews and promote best practices in software development. Required Skills : Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using frameworks like Flask or Django (optional but a plus) . Deep understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures , and optimizing database performance. Familiarity with version control systems , especially Git . Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in API integration. Excellent problem-solving skills , with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field. Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD tools, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Exposure to data warehousing or ETL processes is advantageous .
