Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer specializing in Test Automation with strong expertise in building automation frameworks and scalable testing solutions.

The consultant will work closely with Product Owners, QA Leads, and development teams to design and implement robust automated testing frameworks that ensure high product quality, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, OCR technologies, and cloud DevOps environments, along with strong debugging and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar tools
• Develop scalable automation bots using Robocorp, Python, NumPy, OpenCV, and Applitools Eyes
• Implement BDD-based automation solutions for functional and regression testing

Automation Framework & CI/CD Integration

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks supporting end-to-end testing
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop parallel test suites for multi-environment validation

Collaboration & Agile Development

• Collaborate with QA teams, product owners, and developers to gather automation requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews)
• Translate user stories into technical automation tasks

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute functional, regression, and performance tests
• Implement validation processes for automation bots before deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation and framework issues

DevOps & Version Control

• Use Azure Boards and Azure Pipelines for task tracking and CI/CD processes
• Manage code using Git/GitHub version control
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards
