Job Description

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for supporting the companys procurement activities by sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring accurate inventory and purchasing records. This role works closely with the accounting and warehouse teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate purchasing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle procurement of goods and services according to company needs
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and monitor order status
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock
  • Assist with accounting-related tasks such as invoice checking and purchase documentation
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, accounting, or inventory management
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier coordination
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking and documentation
  • Understanding of basic accounting processes related to purchasing
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
