Job Description

To manage procurement activities efficiently by sourcing reliable vendors, negotiating favorable terms, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting smooth production and operational processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Working knowledge of procurement software such as Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar tools.
Intermediate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with basic technical understanding to assess material quality.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Sourcing

Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers/vendors to strengthen the supply base.
Maintain and update records of supplier performance for review and improvement.

Procurement & Negotiation

Negotiate with suppliers on cost, quality, lead-time, and payment terms to maximize company benefit.
Ensure basic knowledge of material conversions (e.g., sheet weight, meter-to-piece conversion) for effective procurement planning.

Coordination & Quality Assurance

Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production, and quality for procurement requirements.
Address supplier quality issues in coordination with the quality team.
