Project/Delivery management – Insurance

We are seeking an experienced Project/Delivery Manager to lead application development and modernization initiatives within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on General, Life and P&C Insurance. This role requires a strong background in software development, exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work
• Deliver customer projects successfully
• Manage customer expectations and relationship
• Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies
• Address customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with the Account Manager
• Make sure that the customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements
• Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
• Participate in overall project management, time estimation and resource scheduling
• Prepare estimations on time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables
• Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
• Assist in analysing client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows or innovative solutions

Requirements

• 11-16 years of overall working experience
• Background in managing Application Development, Application Modernization or Application Migration projects in P&C, Life or General Insurance
• Experience in General, Life or P&C Insurance domains
• Started career in software development
• Excellent communication, presentation and planning skills
• Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment
