Job Description

A leading organisation in the renewable energy sector focused on utility-scale and commercial solar PV development and EPC delivery across India. We design, build and commission solar power plants with a strong emphasis on safety, schedule adherence, and maximising energy yield.

Location: India | Workplace: On-site

Role & Responsibilities

Lead on-site delivery of solar PV projects from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality and safety standards.
Create and maintain detailed project schedules, manage the critical path, and coordinate trades to meet milestone commitments using industry-standard scheduling tools.
Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors—oversee procurement coordination, contract compliance, change orders and vendor performance to deliver quality installations.
Control project costs: prepare forecasts, track expenditures, manage variations, and implement corrective actions to protect project margins.
Ensure compliance with grid interconnection requirements, statutory permits, technical standards (PV testing, electrical inspections) and HSE protocols; lead commissioning tests and performance validation.
Provide structured stakeholder reporting (progress dashboards, risk registers, mitigation plans), lead site meetings and resolve technical or construction issues promptly.

Skills & QualificationsMust-Have

Solar PV project management
EPC contract management
Primavera P6
Microsoft Project
AutoCAD
PVSyst

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience with utility-scale solar projects and BESS integration
Familiarity with SCADA systems and O&M handover processes
