Role Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of interior and furniture projects. This includes residential, commercial, and bespoke furniture fit-outs, ensuring that timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and site teams.


2. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and updates to manage expectations and gain approvals.
  • Address client concerns promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

3. Execution & Supervision

  • Oversee site execution including interior work, furniture installations, and finishing.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Lead the site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

4. Budget & Resource Management

  • Monitor project budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
  • Ensure material and labor resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Approve supplier and vendor invoices in coordination with the Procurement team.
  • Resource Planning: Ensures manpower, material, and machinery are available on time without over-allocation or downtime.

5. Quality Control & Handover

  • Conduct quality checks at various stages of the project.
  • Coordinate snagging and ensure rectifications are completed before handover.
  • Prepare documentation for final handover and obtain client sign-off.

Performance Expectations:

  • Deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain project profitability by minimizing wastage and optimizing resources.
  • Achieve a minimum of 90% client satisfaction score on post-project feedback.
  • Maintain strict documentation and project reporting protocols.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Technical knowledge of interior finishes, furniture production, and site execution.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD basics).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
