Travel: Approximately 25–30%


About the Opportunity

Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy developer seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This individual will play a key role in driving projects from late-stage development through construction and commercial operation while collaborating across engineering, development, construction, finance, legal, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage renewable energy projects through development, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee project schedules, milestones, budgets, risk mitigation strategies, and reporting.
  • Support EPC procurement, contractor management, and project execution activities.
  • Coordinate utility interconnection, permitting, and regulatory requirements throughout project development.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and project closeout activities.
  • Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to maintain project timelines.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience within the renewable energy industry.
  • Experience supporting utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS), or other energy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and project delivery processes.
  • Experience managing EPC contractors, consultants, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
