Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of EV charging station projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing end-to-end deployment of AC/DC charging plants, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of EV charging infrastructure projects from planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate with clients, utility companies, EPC contractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Oversee site surveys, feasibility studies, and electrical infrastructure assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Lead contractor and vendor management, including procurement and quality assurance.
  • Track project costs, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and provide regular project status reports.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and operational handover of EV charging stations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in EV Charging Infrastructure or Renewable Energy projects.
  • Experience managing deployment of AC and DC Fast Charging Stations.
  • Strong understanding of EV charging technologies, electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, and utility interconnections.
  • Experience with EPC project execution and contractor management.
  • Knowledge of EV charging standards such as CCS, CHAdeMO, Type-2, OCPP, and ISO 15118.
  • Familiarity with government regulations, permits, and utility coordination.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or similar.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience with large-scale public or commercial EV charging deployments.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar-powered EV charging.
  • Experience working with utility companies and grid modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with Smart Charging, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and SCADA.
