Project Manager

Job Description

Studio December is looking for a Project Manager to own the end-to-end execution of our interior styling and furnishing projects from approved concept through sourcing coordination, logistics, on-site installation and final handover. You will be the operational backbone of every project, keeping timelines, vendors, deliveries and site readiness on track so the styling team can deliver beautiful, finished spaces on time and on budget. This role suits someone who is equal parts organised, hands-on and client-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the project timeline from kickoff to closure; build and maintain project schedules and installation sequences
• Coordinate with clients on updates, approvals, milestones and site readiness
• Coordinate with vendors and the sourcing team on order status, dispatch and delivery timelines
• Plan and manage logistics material movement, site access, lift/loading and on-site storage
• Track deliveries and maintain GRNs; check delivered material against the styling BOQ and report damages or shortages
• Plan and lead on-site installation — site walkthroughs, installation sequencing, and coordinating installers, housekeeping and the styling team
• Manage on-site issues and escalate delays or risks proactively
• Run quality checks before client walkthrough; ensure the site is clean, complete and client-ready
• Manage client walkthrough and handover; compile final BOQ, installed/pending item lists, care notes and closure documents
• Drive project closure — operational sign-off, financial reconciliation support and documentation

Preferred Qualification

• Graduate degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil or Project Management is a strong plus
• 2–5 years in project management / site coordination, ideally in interiors, furniture, furnishing, turnkey fit-outs, retail rollouts or hospitality projects
• Hands-on experience coordinating vendors, logistics and on-site installation
• Strong working knowledge of BOQs, GRNs and project trackers (Excel / Google Sheets; project tools a plus)
• Excellent coordination, follow-up and communication skills (English + Hindi; Marathi a plus for Mumbai sites)
• Willing to travel to project sites across Mumbai (and outstation if required); comfortable on active sites
• Detail-oriented, calm under deadline pressure and ownership-driven
