About the Company

We are a civil infrastructure development company engaged in the construction, maintenance, and operation of highways, roads, bridges, tollways, and mining-related infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Business Development Executive / Manager who can support the company in identifying new project opportunities, tracking government tenders, building client relationships, coordinating bids, and contributing to the growth of our infrastructure and mining business.


Role Overview

The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, government departments, consultants, clients, vendors, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of government tendering, infrastructure project bidding, client coordination, and market research. The person should be proactive, presentable, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting the management team in business expansion.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Project Identification

  • Identify new business opportunities in civil infrastructure projects including roads, highways, bridges, tollways, mining sector.
  • Track upcoming tenders from departments such as NHAI, MoRTH, PWD, RSRDC, RIDCOR, RIICO, JDA, Mining Departments, and other government agencies.
  • Monitor EPC, BOT, HAM, PBMC, O&M, Toll Operation, and mining-related project opportunities.
  • Maintain a database of upcoming tenders, project leads, consultants, clients, and competitors.
  • Identify possible joint venture, partnership, subcontracting, and consortium opportunities.

Tendering & Bid Support

  • Coordinate with the tendering, estimation, finance, technical, and legal teams for bid preparation.
  • Study tender documents, eligibility criteria, scope of work, key dates, technical requirements, and financial conditions.
  • Prepare tender summaries and present key requirements to management.
  • Assist in arranging documents required for tender submission, including credentials, certificates, financial documents, technical details, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal departments for timely bid submission.
  • Track pre-bid meetings, corrigendums, clarifications, bid deadlines, and tender results.
  • Support in preparing Expression of Interest, RFQ, RFP, technical proposals, and commercial bid documents.

Client & Government Department Coordination

  • Build and maintain relationships with government departments, consultants, clients, contractors, concessionaires, and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with officials, consultants, and project authorities for business development purposes.
  • Represent the company in meetings, pre-bid conferences, industry events, and business discussions when required.
  • Follow up on submitted proposals, bids, project leads, and business opportunities.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, partners, and external agencies.

Market Research & Strategic Planning

  • Study market trends in the infrastructure, highways, roads, tollways, bridges, and mining sectors.
  • Track competitor activity, awarded projects, project values, bid patterns, and industry developments.
  • Prepare reports on potential business opportunities and market intelligence.
  • Support management in identifying new states, departments, and sectors for expansion.
  • Analyze project feasibility from a business development perspective.
  • Prepare presentations, business notes, and internal reports for management review.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper records of leads, tenders, client communications, submitted bids, pending opportunities, and awarded projects.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
  • Maintain trackers for upcoming tenders, ongoing bids, submitted proposals, and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure timely documentation and proper coordination between all concerned departments.
  • Draft professional emails, letters, meeting notes, and business correspondence.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing, Infrastructure Management, Construction Management, or Business Development will be preferred.
  • Candidates with a civil engineering background and business development exposure will be given preference.

Required Experience

For Executive Level:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in business development, tendering, project coordination, or sales in the infrastructure, construction, highways and mining sector.

For Manager Level:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, tendering, project acquisition, government contracts, infrastructure bidding, or client coordination.

Freshers with strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and interest in the infrastructure sector may also be considered for junior positions.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of roads, highways, bridges, tollways, civil infrastructure, EPC, BOT, HAM, PBMC, and mining projects.
  • Knowledge of government tender portals and procurement processes.
  • Ability to read and understand tender documents, eligibility conditions, and project requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports, trackers, presentations, and business summaries.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and email communication.
  • Good drafting skills for letters, emails, proposals, and official correspondence.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and meet deadlines.
  • Professional attitude and willingness to travel when required.

Job Location

The position will be based at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Candidates should be willing to travel for meetings, project visits, client coordination, pre-bid meetings, and business development activities as required.
