Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Project Manager in Financial Services, you will lead a team in delivering transformational projects, ensuring adherence to the project charter or contract. You will hold overall responsibility for managing project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: Lead the team in delivering projects within the agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Develop and Execute Project Plans: Create and manage project plans, including setting milestones, defining project structures, and allocating staffing requirements to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee Budget and Schedule: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring that costs are aligned with the approved budget, and manage schedules to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate Multiple Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors, to ensure that project objectives are met and that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply Project Management Methodologies: Utilize knowledge of project management methodologies to guide the project delivery process, ensuring that best practices are followed and that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Project Management Methodologies Experience: Experience with project management methodologies, including the ability to apply this knowledge to guide the project delivery process and ensure that best practices are followed.
Financial Services Sector Knowledge: Experience in the Financial Services sector, with a focus on delivering solutions in at least one of the following areas: Risk & Compliance, Blockchain, Banking, Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Core Insurance, Business Process Management (BPM), or Decision Engines.
Complex Project Management: Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technologies, with the ability to coordinate and oversee various aspects of project delivery.
Project Planning and Execution: Experience developing and executing project plans, including setting milestones, defining project structures, and allocating staffing requirements to ensure successful project execution.
Budget and Schedule Management: Experience overseeing project budgets and schedules, with the ability to monitor and control expenses and manage timelines to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Financial Services Industry Knowledge: Experience with financial services industries, including understanding of industry trends and challenges. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards is beneficial.
Advanced Project Management Methodologies: Experience with advanced project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques is advantageous.
Technology Integration Expertise: Experience integrating multiple technologies and systems, including financial services platforms and software. Understanding of technical architecture and infrastructure is desirable.
