The position involves close collaboration with global stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to ensure high-quality, on-time, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Blue Yonder WFM projects, from initiation through go-live and hypercare
- Own delivery of complex functional and technical designs, ensuring alignment with business requirements and solution standards
- Establish and manage project governance, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, and change control processes
- Drive delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies based on project needs
- Lead and coordinate complex solution design efforts, including custom configurations and extensions
- Track custom design and development deliverables, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality are met
- Work closely with architects and technical leads to monitor design dependencies, impacts, and risks
- Ensure proper documentation, design sign-offs, and traceability across the delivery lifecycle
- Oversee implementation of Workforce Forecasting, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Labor Standards, and Analytics
- Ensure WFM solutions integrate effectively with upstream and downstream systems including WMS
- Minimum experience of 2 end-to-end WMS projects preferred, with understanding of warehouse operations and labor processes
- Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure WFM designs support operational and warehouse execution requirements
- Act as the primary interface with demanding enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
- Manage projects with aggressive timelines and high service expectations, ensuring transparent communication
- Proactively manage escalations, scope changes, and delivery risks
- Conduct steering committee meetings, design reviews, and executive status updates
- Lead globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Demonstrate flexibility to work with onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams as required by project demands
- Coordinate cross-region workshops, testing cycles, and cutover activities
- Lead cross-functional teams including functional, technical, QA, and third-party vendors
- Mentor junior project managers and team members
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence within the team
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to scope, custom design, integrations, and timelines
- Ensure delivery quality through structured testing, validation, and sign-off processes
- Manage project budgets, resource planning, forecasts, and financial controls
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives post go-live
- 10–15 years of overall project management experience
- Strong experience in Blue Yonder Workforce Management implementations
- Proven ability to manage complex designs and custom development tracking
- Demonstrated experience handling demanding customers and tight delivery timelines
- Hands-on experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
- WMS experience with a minimum of 2 implementation projects preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
