Experience: 6+ Years

Domain Focus: Software Services (BFSI / FinTech / Finance)

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-impact Project Manager & Business Analyst (Hybrid) to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex software projects. The ideal candidate will act as the primary bridge between client business objectives and the engineering team’s execution.

This role requires a strong combination of strategic business analysis, structured project governance, and experience navigating compliance-driven environments such as BFSI, FinTech, or Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Product Strategy

Discovery & Requirement Elicitation

  • Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to translate business problems into structured technical requirements.

Requirement Engineering

  • Prepare detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin format), and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).

Gap Analysis

  • Identify missing or unclear requirements, especially in complex systems such as payment flows and financial platforms.

Backlog Management

  • Act as a Proxy Product Owner, prioritizing the backlog and ensuring tasks are development-ready.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Validate developed features against business requirements before final release.

Project Management & Governance

  • Project Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initiation to project closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Resource & Capacity Planning

  • Monitor team workload, velocity, and dependencies to prevent delivery bottlenecks.

Risk Management

  • Maintain a proactive Risk Register and escalate potential risks early.

Financial Tracking

  • Track Budget vs Actuals for both Fixed-Price and Time & Material (T&M) engagements.

Change Control

  • Manage the Change Request (CR) process, ensuring scope creep is documented, approved, and billed.

Technical & Tooling Requirements

Methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall (Hybrid)

Tools - JIRA, Confluence, Figma (for reviewing UX), Postman (for API analysis)

Documentation - SQL basics, BPMN 2.0 Flowcharts, UML Diagrams

Soft Skills - Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Technical Storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a software services/consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience handling "difficult" stakeholder approvals and technical blockers.
  • PMP certification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • The "Hybrid" Mindset: A track record of making data-driven trade-offs between "the perfect requirement" and "the project deadline."
