Job Description

Position Name: Project Coordinator – CID

Department: EE

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/Post Graduate – Electrical & Electronics

Experience: Minimum 10–12 years

Location: Pune

Purpose of the Position

Support in developing components like Instrument Cluster, CID, ABT, Central Infotainment Display, Free Interactive Display
Support in development of components for ICE and BEV
Technical assessment of suppliers and review of technical presentations
Coordinate with Supplier / Purchase / SKODA MB / CFT for development activities
Conduct functional and mechanical testing at component and vehicle level
Release recommendations for P/B/BMG and K release
Support for field issues

Authority

Decide the strategy of localization
Conduct technical reviews with suppliers
Support localization activities

Skills Required

Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical & Electronics subsystems and components
Knowledge of various development standards
CAD, drawing review, functional performance review
Coordination and negotiation with development suppliers
Project Management
Good administrative skills: planning, structuring, documentation

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Prepare localization strategy for components for IMP/MQB platform
Decide feasibility and priority of components for localization in alignment with project and Purchase
Have know‑how of CID/ABT/Cockpit Display, ZDC, software flashing
Support in technical reviews and supplier technical assessment
Understand regulatory requirements of various markets; support homologation
Study SAVWIPL testing standards and prepare DVP; prepare LAH for displays; ensure interface with other E&E components
Support bench and vehicle-level testing
Support for VFF/PVS/OS and SOP part readiness
Assist suppliers in understanding requirements; support component owners in validation
Create workflows and provide recommendations for BMG with required reports
Track timely release of components for car build
Support VAVE/PKO ideas
Identify and coordinate new Indian technologies / development opportunities based on market trends, competitors, supplier inputs, and manufacturing needs
Ensure project milestones and targets (time, cost, quality) are met
Ensure compliance with specifications (LAH), regulatory, homologation, and KPIs
Support development team meetings, inter‑departmental discussions, supplier interactions, and coordination with Skoda MB
Support teams as per PEP guidelines and ensure technical and budgetary milestones are met on time
