Position Overview
As a Program Associate, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and monitoring air quality and environmental data projects. This is a cross-functional role that blends technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, research impact tracking, and support for business development with government and institutional clients.

You will be responsible for the strategic reach of our environmental projects, contributing to sales efforts (especially with government entities), showcasing project outcomes through content, documentation, including data analysis and insights, and stakeholder engagement
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Research
- Conduct data quality checks and analyse environmental data, including Air Pollution and weather metrics.
- Develop scientific models, policy notes, impact assessments, and regulatory summaries related to air quality and environmental monitoring.
- Perform GIS-based location analysis and generate annotated maps with sensor deployment justifications.
- Track and report on:
- Research papers, white papers, or insights that are developed.
- Number of policy notes or regulatory impact analyses contributing to government or city-level decisions.
- Support proposal writing, tenders, and grant documentation with data, projections, and evidence-based narratives.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and timelines for both internal and external reporting purposes.
- Identify and engage with government stakeholders; support in mapping needs, use-cases, and collaboration opportunities.
- Contribute to government outreach strategies by aligning scientific insights with policy requirements.
- Track business impact of outreach:
- Number of leads/opportunities initiated or converted (with breakdown by sector/geography).
- Number of AMCs or service-based contracts secured with public institutions — including total contract value.
- Number of collaborations initiated with research institutes, think tanks, or development agencies.
- Support presentations, proposals, and compliance documentation during government engagement and tender processes.
- Collaborate with internal sales and product teams to support government business development:
- Understand government procurement processes, compliance protocols, and policy trends.
- Contribute insights to sales presentations and strategic narratives targeted at public-sector clients.
- Track engagement outcomes and provide accurate forecasts and updates to the management team.
- Participate in workshops, conferences, and industry events to expand institutional outreach and visibility.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in environmental research, public policy, urban data projects, or government/NGO engagements.
- Internships with research organizations, development agencies, or smart city projects are also considered.
