Position Details

Position: Plant Head / Manufacturing Head

Location: Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (West Africa)

Industry: Manufacturing (Agrochemicals / Chemicals / Lubricants / Liquid Production / Multi-Product Manufacturing)

Experience Required: 5+ Years in Plant Operations Leadership

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineering

Additional Advantage: French language knowledge / previous African work exposure

Salary Budget: 12,00,000 to 15,00,000 INR / Annum.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position where you will be responsible for complete end-to-end manufacturing operations.

You will lead multiple production divisions including:

• Agrochemical Manufacturing (Glyphosate)

• Lubricants / Grease Production

• Liquid Blending Operations

• Natural Oils & Turbo Product Lines

• Moulding Operations

• Multi-product Manufacturing Activities

Your major responsibilities will include:

✓ Leading daily plant operations across all production lines

✓ Ensuring production targets related to Volume, Quality, Cost & Delivery

✓ Improving manufacturing efficiency and productivity

✓ Implementing Lean Manufacturing practices

✓ Driving Six Sigma, OEE improvement, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives

✓ Optimising cycle time, line balancing, and throughput

✓ Strengthening SOP-driven manufacturing processes

✓ Ensuring workplace safety standards and zero-accident culture

✓ Reducing downtime, defects, wastage, and operational losses

✓ Coordinating with Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Management teams

✓ Building, mentoring, and developing high-performing plant teams
