Job Responsibilities

Ensures a safe work environment by conducting safety walks, enforcing PPE compliance, addressing hazards immediately, and modeling strong safety and 6S behaviors.

Executes the shift production plan by confirming machine and area readiness, assigning operator coverage, monitoring output versus schedule, and assisting with startups or minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Supports operational excellence by reinforcing standard work, maintaining organization and cleanliness, coordinating material flow, and ensuring accurate completion of production, scrap, and downtime documentation.
Actively participates in cross-functional communication and continuous improvement by engaging in shift meetings, escalating issues promptly, collaborating with maintenance/quality/engineering, and supporting team development through coaching and training

Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to understand manufacturing processes
Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Preferred-

Experienced with SAP, Centra/Citrix Data base
Experience with Lean tools
Operate material handling equipment
