Job Description: Product Manager
Role Overview
The Product Manager identifies customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into reality. The role is responsible for setting the product roadmap and vision, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful end-to-end product rollout.
Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
• Total exp - 15 yrs and Relevant 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles within a technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products or platforms.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in organizing and managing large-scale technology events (e.g., hackathons, innovation days) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Vision & Strategy
o Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives.
o Set and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
o Identify customer pain points and translate them into actionable product requirements.
o Position new products in line with customer demands and market trends.
• Stakeholder Management
o Align stakeholders around the product vision and strategy.
o Deliver technical information on new and updated products to relevant teams.
o Foster a shared understanding across larger teams to empower independent decision-making.
• Product Delivery
o Lead the end-to-end rollout of products and features.
o Ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution of product initiatives.
o Continuously monitor product performance and iterate based on feedback and data.
• Customer Focus
o Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.
o Ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and deliver value.
Additional Responsibility: Organization-Level Tech Event Management
• Tech Event Leadership
o Plan, organize, and manage organization-level technology events (e.g., hackathons, innovation days, product showcases).
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution.
o Drive engagement and participation across the organization and external partners.
o Measure and report on event outcomes, leveraging insights to improve future events.
o Represent the product and organization at internal and external tech events, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Skills Required:
• Proven experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Experience in organizing and managing large-scale tech events is highly desirable.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving customer problems.
