Product Owner – AI Pundit & Raaghu

Role overview:

Wai Technologies is building next-generation developer platforms that combine AI, specification-driven development, and design-to-code automation.

As Product Owner for AI Pundit and Raaghu, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle of two strategic platforms:

• AI Pundit – an AI-powered, specification-driven development platform integrated with IDEs and Azure DevOps
• Raaghu – an AI-accelerated React design system and frontend engineering platform

You will work closely with engineering, design, AI, DevOps, and go-to-market teams to ensure these products deliver measurable developer productivity, quality, and ROI.

This is a hands-on ownership role, not a documentation-only position.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for AI Pundit and Raaghu
• Translate business goals into clear product outcomes and success metrics
• Prioritize features based on customer impact, platform scalability, and long-term strategy
• Balance community edition vs enterprise edition feature planning

Backlog & Delivery Management

• Define and manage product backlogs across multiple teams
• Write clear, outcome-driven user stories with acceptance criteria
• Ensure alignment with specification-driven development (Spec Kit) principles
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as product owner

Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as the single point of accountability for product decisions

Collaborate with:

• Engineering (Frontend, Backend, AI)
• UX / Design System teams
• DevOps & Platform teams
• Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success

Engage with customers, partners, and internal users for continuous feedback

AI & Platform Thinking

Shape how AI is applied responsibly and effectively across:

• Design-to-code workflows
• Specification analysis
• Code generation & validation
• DevOps automation

Work with AI teams on LLM-agnostic architecture and configuration models

Ensure explainability, traceability, and governance in AI-driven features

Product Quality & Metrics

Define and track product KPIs, such as:

• Spec completeness & stability
• Developer velocity improvement
• Reduction in rework and defects
• Adoption and engagement metrics

Ensure enterprise-grade usability, performance, and reliability

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 2+ years of experience as Product Owner / Product Manager / Technical Product Lead
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)
• Experience working with engineering-heavy products or platforms
• Ability to communicate fluently with developers, designers, and business leaders
• Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Strongly Preferred

Experience with developer tools, platforms, or frameworks

Familiarity with:

• React / frontend ecosystems
• Design systems or UI platforms
• Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD

Exposure to AI-powered products or workflow automation

Understanding of enterprise SaaS and multi-tenant platforms
