Product Manager CMS

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and management of our Escrow product suite, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and delivering innovative solutions across multiple segments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of escrow services, capital market escrows, and other regulatory escrow structures such as PPI (Prepaid Instruments), P2P (Peer-to-Peer Lending), Payment Aggregator, etc., combined with the ability to structure complex escrow and TRA (Trust and Retention Account) deals. The role ensures the product team supports business goals, enhances operational efficiency, and delivers personalized, compliant, and scalable digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning|

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for escrow services across real estate, capital markets, and regulatory segments.
• Identify new business opportunities and design innovative escrow solutions for corporates, fintechs, and developers.
• Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to ensure product differentiation.
  
  

Regulatory / compliances and Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Ensure compliance with RERA, RBI guidelines (PPI, P2P, Payment Aggregators), SEBI norms for capital market escrows, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and maintain policies, processes, and SOPs for escrow operations.
• Liaise with legal, compliance, and audit teams to incorporate regulatory changes into product design.
  
  

Risk and Internal Control

• Implement robust risk management practices for escrow products.
• Ensure internal controls are in place for transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and regulatory adherence.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  
  

People Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance) to deliver product objectives.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on escrow structures and compliance requirements.
  
  

Documentation / audit

• Product Notes: Ensure all product notes and underlines process are dully documented and approved in respective committees. No major open item w.r.t. audit / compliance / system audit etc. should exist beyond a reasonable timeframe.
• Oversee documentation for escrow agreements, TRA structures, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits by maintaining accurate records and compliance reports.
  
  

Education

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or CA/CS/CWA preferred.
  
  

Experience

4–7 years of experience in Product Management within Banking, Financial Services, or Escrow domain.
