We are currently building our core marketing leadership team at our Bangalore headquarters to drive the launch, market penetration, and long-term strategy of our specialty Urology division.

Role Overview

As the Senior Product Manager for Urology, you will be the brand architect and strategic lead for our newly launched Urology portfolio. Based in Bangalore, you will take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle—from pre-launch conceptualization and market shaping to post-launch brand building and revenue generation. This role requires a creative, analytical, and highly scientific marketer who can translate complex clinical data into compelling brand narratives and drive field force execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Launch & Brand Management: Spearhead the comprehensive launch strategy for the new Urology portfolio. Develop and execute annual brand plans, defining positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies to capture market share.
  • Campaign Development: Design high-impact, science-driven promotional campaigns, visual aids, Leave-Behind Literatures (LBLs), and digital marketing initiatives tailored for Urologists and consulting physicians.
  • Medico-Marketing & KOL Engagement: Conceptualize and execute Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs, clinical symposia, round-table discussions, and Advisory Boards. Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and top Urologists across the country.
  • Market Intelligence & Analytics: Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry data (e.g., AWACS, IQVIA) to identify new growth opportunities, therapy gaps, and pricing dynamics.
  • Sales Force Enablement: Partner closely with Zonal and Regional Sales Managers to ensure the seamless execution of brand strategies on the ground. Conduct rigorous field force training programs on product knowledge, clinical objection handling, and effective detailing stories.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central pillar connecting Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, compliance, and unified strategic alignment.
  • P&L & Budget Management: Manage the marketing and promotional budget for the Urology division, ensuring maximum ROI on all brand-building activities and campaigns.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing/brand management.
  • Specialty Expertise: Must have strong, hands-on experience managing brands within the Urology segment (or closely related specialties like Nephrology). A proven track record of successful new product launches is highly preferred.
  • Educational Background: B.Pharm or B.Sc in a relevant scientific field; a full-time MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution is highly desirable.
  • Scientific Acumen: Ability to rapidly comprehend complex clinical studies and translate them into simple, powerful marketing messages.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in dissecting market data, forecasting, and building data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Must be a confident communicator capable of engaging with elite medical professionals and inspiring a large sales force.
