Product Manager
Actively Reviewing the ApplicationsGIVA
Job Description
Job Description: Product Manager (App & Web) – GIVA
Job Summary
As a Product Manager at GIVA, you will be the architect of the digital shopping experience across our mobile app and website and co-own product lifecycle.
Your mission is to bridge the gap between fine jewelry and a seamless tech experience. You will own the key performance metrics across the entire user journey, from the moment a user lands on our platform to the final checkout and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Funnel Ownership & Optimization
You will be responsible for moving the needle on critical growth metrics:
- Top of Funnel (Acquisition & Discovery): Improve landing page conversion, optimize search/filter functionality, and enhance the "window shopping" experience.
- Mid-Funnel (Engagement & Intent): Own the Product Display Pages (PDP) and Listing Pages (PLP). Drive "Add to Cart" rates through better storytelling, high-quality imagery tech, and social proof.
- Bottom Funnel (Conversion & Retention): Streamline the checkout process to reduce drop-offs, optimize payment gateway success rates, and implement post-purchase features to drive repeat builds.
2. Strategy & Roadmap
- Analyze user behavior data (using tools like Mixpanel, Clevertap, or GA4) to identify friction points.
- Translate customer pain points and business goals into a prioritized product backlog.
- Define the "Why" behind every feature, ensuring it aligns with GIVA’s goal of becoming the go-to destination for everyday fine jewelry.
3. Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Design: Work with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, "jewelry-first" interfaces that evoke emotion.
- Engineering: Write clear, concise PRDs and user stories. Lead sprint planning and UAT to ensure high-quality releases.
- Marketing/Growth: Collaborate on seasonal campaigns, loyalty programs, and personalized notification strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on Product Management experience, specifically in B2C E-commerce or D2C brands.
- Data Fluency: Strong ability to query data and derive insights. You should be comfortable with A/B testing frameworks and funnel analysis.
- Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of App (iOS/Android) and Web ecosystems. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with retention tools (e.g., WebEngage, MoEngage) and referral programs.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Competencies
- Extreme Ownership: You treat the GIVA app as your own business.
- Speed over Perfection: You believe in shipping fast, learning, and iterating.
- Analytical Rigor: You don't make decisions based on "gut feeling" alone; you back them up with numbers.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
