We partner with manufacturers, wholesalers, and vendors across multiple categories while also developing our own private-label products. We're looking for a proactive Procurement Manager who can build strong supplier relationships, source quality products, negotiate competitive pricing, and support our rapidly growing marketplace. 

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to manage vendor sourcing, procurement, and supplier onboarding for Booncart's expanding product portfolio. The ideal candidate should have excellent negotiation skills, market knowledge, and experience in procurement, vendor management, and product sourcing. This role requires frequent field visits to identify suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, ensure timely procurement, and maintain long-term vendor relationships. 

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and onboard manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and suppliers across multiple product categories.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, pricing trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, delivery timelines, and commercial agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic partners.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, service levels, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams for procurement planning.
• Ensure timely product availability while minimizing procurement costs.
• Work closely with the product team to expand Booncart's product catalogue.
• Source products for seasonal campaigns, festivals, birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and other celebration themes.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor documentation, quotations, and purchase reports.
• Visit local markets and industrial areas to identify reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure continuous supply without disruptions.
• Collaborate with operations, inventory, and finance teams for smooth procurement processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, or Sourcing.

• Experience in E-commerce, Retail, Event Management, Party Supplies, Home Décor, Gifts, FMCG, or Consumer Products preferred.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good understanding of Hyderabad supplier markets.

• Comfortable with field visits and vendor meetings.

• Self-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously.

• Experience in price comparison, quotation analysis, and procurement planning. 

Mandatory Requirements

• Own two-wheeler with valid driving licence.

• Willingness to travel within Hyderabad for vendor visits.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Immediate Joiners or candidates with up to 30 days' notice period preferred. 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
