Procurement Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Executive to oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and services for our interior design projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of high-quality materials within budget while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring smooth coordination with the design and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Source and evaluate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for materials, furniture, lighting, and décor items.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Coordinate with design, project, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
• Maintain inventory levels and track material usage across multiple projects.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules.
• Develop and maintain vendor databases with updated product catalogues and price lists.
• Monitor market trends, new materials, and supplier innovations relevant to interior design.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.
• Regularly report cost savings, procurement performance, and vendor performance metrics.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of materials used in interior design and construction (plywood, laminates, lighting, hardware, furnishings, etc.).
• Strong analytical, budgeting, and cost-control abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills across design and site teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement software .
• Time management and multitasking ability under tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Any Bachelors degree .
• 0-6 months of experience in procurement, preferably within an interior design, architecture, or construction company.
• Freshers are preferred from Civil engineering background.
