Role Description The Process Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Sandhar Technologies Ltd.’s Gurugram plant. This role is responsible for leading process engineering activities, including designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes for existing and new products. The manager will oversee process layouts, equipment selection, and process control plans to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Daily tasks include monitoring process performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating root cause analysis for process issues, and collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams. The role also involves mentoring process engineers, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and certifications, supporting new product introduction and trials, and preparing technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for plant personnel.
Qualifications

  • Ability to design and develop manufacturing processes, with strong skills in Process Design and Process Engineering.
  • Experience in driving Business Process Improvement and Process Optimization initiatives within a production or automotive environment.
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining robust Process Control methods, including use of data and metrics to monitor and improve performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline; advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or component manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., TS 16949 / IATF, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Effective people management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with
