Saltech transforms waste materials, such as single-use plastics, construction debris, and industrial byproducts, into sustainable building materials through its patented closed-loop recycling process. Saltech’s innovative approach creates durable, carbon-negative composite precast materials like blocks, bricks, and tiles, offering sustainable alternatives to traditional construction methods.


Role Description

Type: Full-Time/Internship, On-Site, On-Floor, In-Office   

Experience Level: Fresher/ Experienced 

Location: Zak GIDC, Vahelal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.     

Salary Range: 2,50,000 INR – 4,50,000 INR per annum (subject to experience and performance)  

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (General Shift)   

Work Schedule: 6 working days per week 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Process planning, development, Implimentation and optimization for procurement & manufacturing operations. 
  • Conducting on-field market visits to verify job work and assess operational requirements. 
  • Preparation and Implementation of process flow diagrams (PFD), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. 
  • Train assembly staff and troubleshoot on the shop floor. 
  • Lead Kaizen events to reduce defects and cycle time. 
  • Root cause analysis of process deviations and implementation of corrective actions. 
  • Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams for design-for-manufacturing (DFM & DFA) implementation. 
  • Validation of processes through CAD simulations and technical analysis where applicable. 
  • Monitoring manufacturing performance and recommending continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. 
  • Documentation of process parameters, production reports, and quality metrics. 

 

Qualifications 

  • A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) is Preferred; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering may also be considered based on relevant skills and experience. 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial engineering fundamentals. 
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar tools (preferred). 
  • Excellent knowledge of process simulation, DFM principles, and GD&T. 
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and technical documentation practices. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and process-oriented mindset. 
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Selection Process 

The selection process will comprise three stages: 

  • HR Round 
  • Technical/Process Evaluation 
  • Final Managerial Round 

 

Depending on your performance during the interview, a training or probation period may be applicable to your candidacy.


The candidate will gain exposure to advanced manufacturing operations, production optimization strategies, and quality management practices while working on industrial-scale mechanical systems.
