KMCT Polytechnic College is inviting applications for the position of Principal from experienced academic leaders with a strong background in technical education and institutional administration.

Established under the prestigious KMCT Group of Institutions, the college is AICTE approved and affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education, Kerala. (kmctpolytechnic.org)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for academic, administrative, and institutional development.
• Ensure compliance with AICTE, DTE, SBTE, and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Lead accreditation, quality assurance, NBA/NAAC initiatives, and academic excellence programs.
• Promote industry collaboration, innovation, placement activities, and skill development initiatives.
• Mentor faculty members and foster a culture of academic excellence and discipline.
• Drive student development, institutional growth, and community engagement.
• Oversee budgeting, infrastructure development, admissions, and overall campus administration.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications and experience as per AICTE norms for Polytechnic Principal positions.
• Preferably from Engineering/Technical Education background with Ph.D./Master’s in Engineering/Technology.
• Proven administrative and leadership experience in Polytechnic/Engineering institutions.
• Strong knowledge of AICTE approval processes, accreditation systems, and academic governance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Preferred Profile

• Senior academicians/administrators with a distinguished career in technical education.
• Candidates with exposure to NBA/NAAC accreditation, outcome-based education, and institutional development initiatives will be preferred.
• Industry interaction and placement-oriented leadership experience will be an added advantage.
